Little Flower School, Pungro is a leading catholic Educational institution established by the Diocese of Kohima, Nagaland in the year 1989 . It was initially located at Old Vongthi Village, under Pungro Sub-division of Kiphire District and was later shifted to the current location at Pungro for logistical and further developmental reasons. The School obtained permission to upgrade the school as a high school in the year 2004 and received recognition from NBSE in 2009. Past 32 years of growth and development of the school, both in number and quality bears ample testimony to God’s unfailing love for His Church and His people. “ I will be with you” Mt. 28:20 and the hard work and dedicated service rendered towards its growth by several priests/Fathers, sisters, teachers, students and the unflinching support extended by the parents and public at large. A tiny plant that was planted in a small hut with few students 32 years ago has now grown into a big tree providing shade and shelter of knowledge and wisdom to hundreds of students in Pungro and neighboring villages.
